St David’s Day Crafts

This week we have been busy making crafts for the Eisteddfod at Harrison and Alex’s school, to celebrate St David’s Day on March 1st. An Eisteddfod is a celebration of music, literature and performance in Wales, and is something that many schools across the country will be doing this week to celebrate St David, the patron saint of Wales.

I decided not to blog about the crafts we did because they were taken from ideas I found on Pinterest, but I’ve rounded up some of the best Welsh and St David’s day crafts from other bloggers to share with you.

St David's Day Crafts

Pipe Cleaner Daffodils

Plastic Bottle Top Spring Flowers

Creating Daffodils

Paper Daffodils

Bottle Dragon Craft  (originally for St George’s Day – change it to a red dragon and it’s perfect for St David’s Day!)

Egg Cup Daffodils

How will you be celebrating St David’s Day?

  1. Those are brilliant! I love all the daffodils, one of my favourite flowers.

  2. So many lovely ideas. May have to try some more daffodil ideas for other spring craft times. Happy St Davids Day 🙂
