Toasty Toes and Warm Homes

Things I hate the most:

  • Crabs
  • Furry stickers
  • Cold feet

I hate having cold feet. We luckily have carpets in the bedroom and living room, but our hallway, kitchen and playroom are all laminate flooring and I hate coming downstairs on a morning and putting bare feet onto cold laminate. I try to remember to take slippers upstairs on an evening so I don’t have that cold feet shock in the mornings, but I end up forgetting – it’s enough to make me want to stay in bed all day!

Underfloor heating is something I absolutely dream of. When we went on holiday last year, the accommodation had it, and it was lovely being able to walk around barefoot but still being warm at the same time. As well as keeping our toes toasty, it warmed the entire lodge without having to switch on radiators, which I imagine is much more environmentally friendly, as well as safer with kids.

Underfloor Heating Trade Supplies have created a survey to find out what people think about underfloor heating. It only takes a minute to fill out, and it would be great if you could go and let them know what you think. You can get to the survey by clicking here.

  1. Oh this is totally on my list if ever I build my own house. I always love underfloor heating, it’s the best thing ever to walk on!
