It’s been AGES since I’ve done a meal planning post, which is a bit daft because my stats show that you guys love them. If I’m honest, it all fell by the wayside a bit and we went back to the ‘Shit, it’s 5pm and I need to find something for tea’ routine. It costs more and makes me all flustered so I really need to get back into doing it. Whether the summer holidays is the best time to start, I have no idea, but here goes!
I’m going to be doing it a little differently, at least over the summer anyway. Instead of having certain meals on certain days, I’m just going to plan and buy for 7 meals. It doesn’t matter what days we have the meals – I can just cross them off the list on the fridge.
This week’s meal plan includes:
Homemade fish pie with green beans
Pork in pitta bread with sweet potato chips
Pizza Wraps, chips and corn on the cob
Chicken and chorizo stew with rice
Baked potatoes with salad
Chicken roast dinner
Omelette with salad
