If I Could…

If I could...| www.parenthoodhighsandlows.com

I was tagged by the lovely Laura at Laura’s Lovely Blog to do this post. It was a really nice one to write – I had a few little daydreams whilst writing it!

If I could live anywhere…

It would be in Cornwall. Having lived in Birmingham my entire life, I’ve had more than enough of living in a busy, dirty, noisy city. The seaside is my happy place, and I absolute cute little seaside villages like St Ives.

If I could have any house…

Quite simply, it would just be one that we owned. We currently rent and to be honest, I don’t think we will ever be in the position where we can buy one. We have lived in four houses in four years. I just want somewhere where we can settle and put our own stamp on the place, and not have to worry about potentially moving every six months.

If I could have any garden…

It would be a nice big but low maintenance one – we absolutely hate gardening so I would want one that needs minimal input from us, or hire a gardener! I’d like a nice big lawn area for the kids to play, a slabbed area for them to play on their bikes and scooters and a nice patio area for us to sit and have barbecues on in the summer.

If I could be on holiday right now…

As much as part of me would like to say somewhere exotic, it would probably be Cornwall (again!). I think taking three young kids abroad sounds like more hard work than it is worth, and let’s face it, some areas of Britain are so beautiful. I had many amazing holidays in Cornwall as a child, and I know this is somewhere we want to take the children soon.

If I could have any job…

It sounds cheesy, but the one that I do now. Through blogging I have had so many amazing opportunities, and my freelance work means I can be at home for the kids – not to mention I absolutely love writing.

If I could have any talent…

I would absolutely love to be able to cook. I love watching cookery shows and reading recipes, but I am absolutely atrocious at actually doing it!

If I could have any superpower…

It would be the power to turn invisible. Imagine the things you would hear and see, and what you could get up to!!

I tag the following people to do this post:

Laura from Mind Mood Mommy

Michaela from Two Little Paines

Kim from Kimz Kardz

  1. Yes I am terrible at gardening too, I do like pretty gardens though. And moving 4 times in 4 years sounds kind of hellish I hope you find somewhere you can settle X

    (Ps Cornwall is awesome)
