Fragrance Free Face Balm

Since I’ve been pregnant, I’ve been trying really hard to look after my skin a bit better., so was pleased when I had the chance to try out a Fragrance Free Face Balm from Balm Balm.

I love the word ‘balm’ when it comes to skincare. It sounds so nice and gentle, which is exactly what I want on my skin! Although this product is called ‘Face Balm’, it is perfect for anywhere that is prone to dry skin – hands, elbows, knees, feet…anywhere. Not being one to faff about with lots of different products, this is brilliant. The tube is quite small (30ml) but you only need a small amount each time, and it is perfect size for popping in my handbag.

Balm Balm

When you squeeze it out, the balm is quite thick but sort of melts onto your fingers. It is quite oily, which took me a while to get used to, as I was unsure of putting something oily on my face. However, once you rub it into your skin it doesn’t feel oily or greasy at all, and left my skin feeling really lovely.
The only thing I wasn’t overly keen on was the ‘fragrance’. It is fragrance free, but to both me and my mum there was quite a strong smell, which wasn’t of anything in particular. I don’t have a problem with fragrances though, and I have seen on their website that they do a rose geranium scent which sounds lovely, and I would probably order that one in the future.
Balm Balm do a range of balms and skincare products for babies, and when Benjamin is born I will be definitely ordering some of their baby balm, as it is completely organic and natural.
The Face Balm, and other products are available on their website, which you can visit by clicking here.

I was sent a 30ml tube of the product for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
