Christmas gifts for under 5’s

When it comes to buying presents for the boys, I always ask other parents for their recommendations. I try, as far as possible, to stay away from the latest craze or character toys (although that is getting harder as the boys get older!), looking for toys and gifts that will stand the test of time. All of these items are things we have reviewed in the past year or so, or are things we have bought for the boys – all are personally recommended by us!

Chicco Mini Golf Set

Review: Chicco Mini Golf |

This mini golf set can be used both indoor and outdoors to encourage physical play and coordination. It can be played in two different modes – training and hit the mole. Once the target has been hit, it plays encouraging sounds and the lights flash.

Eat Sleep Doodle Mats

We all know how much little ones love to draw and colour, and how fidgety they can get whilst waiting to eat. We adored these washable place mats – and the duvet covers that you can doodle on.
