Santa’s Village Family Entertainment Park
If you plan to visit Canada during the summer season, your children will be delighted with a trip to this wonderful entertainment park in Toronto. Children will be able to meet Santa, who is in residence throughout the summer, and there are plenty of rides, games and activities, including a craft workshop to be busy with. Most importantly, the park is home to some resident deer and goats, which you can feed if that’s your thing.
Made up of three artificially created islands set in Lake Ontario, this entertainment complex boasts its own water park, IMAX theatres and walking trails. There are also lots of rides, paddle boats and an Amphitheater to keep the kids entertained.
If you time you visit the Ontario Place complex in July, you may get to see The Festival of Fire – a fireworks spectacular that you will not want to miss.
Canada’s Wonderland is the ultimate family fun attraction, Home to more than 200 different attractions, the Ontario complex has something for everyone, including 15 roller coasters, games of skill, arcade games, various summer festivals and a spooky Halloween Haunt in October.
This Six Flags amusement park has been around since 1967 and is a staple family attraction in the area. Currently, there are more than 40 attractions on the site, including The Goliath, which is the tallest and quickest roller coaster in the whole of North America!
Ontario Science Center
Ontario Science Center is a whole lot of fun for the whole family. The attraction certainly lives up to its mission statement “To delight, inform and challenge visitors through engaging and thought-provoking experiences in science and technology.” The OSC caters for everyone from young children to teens and adults, and there are many interactive exhibitions that will teach you a thing or two about science.
