Boredom Busting Bingo

With three children under the age of 7, and my nearest family member living 130 miles away, going out for a night of fun is pretty much impossible. In fact, it hasn’t happened at all since we have lived here in North Wales, and even when we lived in Birmingham, we only managed to escape once or twice for a quick meal or drink at the pub, ready to be back to settle the monsters. No, almost all of our fun has to happen at home, or somewhere we can take the kids.

Bingo has gained popularity again in recent years and is no longer an old ladies game.  – we have lots of caravan sites and holiday parks offering bingo nights by us, and there is a big bingo hall in Rhyl town centre that always looks heaving, especially on a Friday or Saturday evening. It’s something I’ve never actually got out to do, but I can imagine it being good for a laugh.

These days, the only chance I have of playing bingo is online. There are plenty of sites offering all sorts of incentive to get you to sign up. One such site is Boomtown Bingo, who are now offering various gifts and prizes when you make small cash deposits. I love the idea of being able to play games online, in the comfort of my own home whilst not only being in with the chance of winning the jackpot (Imagine how handy that would be this side of Christmas?!) but being able to win some smaller bits and pieces as well.

So, whilst everyone else is getting dolled up, putting on shoes that hurt their feet, venturing out in the cold, spending a fortune on taxis and drinks – I’ll be sitting at home in my PJ’s, with a Bailey’s or three playing online!
